Neue Entwicklungen in der Bundesrepublik Somalia

Nach der Unabhängigkeit von Briten und Italieren 1960 und der Einsetzung eines ersten Präsidenten eskalierten die Spannungen mit dem benachbarten Äthiopien, die sich um das von Somalia beanspruchte Ogaden-Gebiet drehten. Der seit 1967 im Amt befindliche 2. Präsident Shermake wurde 1969 von einem Leibwächter getötet.

 

Es folgte eine politisch sehr wechselvolle Geschichte, die vor allem durch militärische Interventionen anderer Mächte (zunächst von pro-russischer, dannn amerikanischer Seite) geprägt waren.

 

Nach dem Rückzug dieser Kräfte kam es zum Somalischen Bürgerkrieg, der letztlich bis 2012 das politische Leben prägte, und mit Kampfhandlungen und Flüchtlingen auch die wirtschaftliche Kraft des Landes kosteten.

 

2011 kam es zu nach Entführungen kenianischer Bürger in Somalia zu einer Intervention Kenias, die zu einer Besetzung weiter Landesteile führte.

 

Obwohl das Parlament am 1.8.2012 die neue Staatsform der Bundesrepublik beschloß, steht die Definiton der Teilstaaten noch weitgehend aus.

 

Zumal halten Bürgerkriegskämpfe, Handlungen von Piraten eine hohe Korruptionsrate das Land weiter unsicher und in Konflikten. Eine normale Wirtschaftstätigkeit ist auch aufgrund der Probleme mit dem Hunger und der Ausbreitung der Wüstengebiete im Land noch kaum möglich.

 

Sprache und Literatur in der Bundesrepublik Somalia
 

Mit der Sprache Somali (Af-ka Soomaali-ga) verfügt das Land über eine Landessprache, die von mehr als 90 % der 12,3 Millionen Einwohner auch gesprochen wird und Amtssprache ist. Damit ist eine wichtige Entwicklungsvoraussetzung gegeben.

 

Zunehmend hat auch eine Verschriftlichung und Entwicklung von Literatur begonnen, was zu zunehmender Selbstreflexion, Zusammenhalt, Klärung der Positionen und auch internationaler Wahrnehmung und Hilfe führt.

 

Presse-Institution wie das Sahan Journal und Horseed media können hier eine wichtige Rolle spielen.

 

Im Sahan Journal hat etwa der in USA arbeitende Anwalt Aman H.D. Obsiye 2017 einen Text "Rethinking the Somali State" veröffentlicht, der Grundlage von Gesprächen sein kann.

 

Zusammenarbeit mit Institutionen und Menschen in der Bundesrepublik Somalia

Und wie könnte nun unser Angebot für Somalia konkret aussehen?

 

Zunächst treten wir mit Übersetzern des Somali in Kontakt und können künftig also Übersetzungen aus DE und EN in Somali und umgekehrt anbieten. Zusätzlich ist das auch aus und in unsere skandinavischen Sprachen möglich.

Übersetzungen aus Somali heißt für uns nur Af-ka Soomaali-ga, bei den Sprachen der Minderheiten wie der Bantusprache Zigula oder Swahili können wir nicht helfen.

 

Was können wir Unternehmen oder Einzelpersonen zur Unterstützung anbieten:

Wir können durch Übersetzung von Werbematerial, Katalogen, Flyern, aber auch inhaltlicher Anpassung an den deutschen Markt helfen und beratend tätig werden.

 

Das bezieht sich natürlich nicht nur auf Werbung, sondern z.B. auch auf Betriebsanleitungen, die den Erfolg eines Produktes sichern können.

 

Wir haben in anderen Ländern in den letzten vier Jahren mehrfach im Bereich Bildung gearbeitet, und zum Beispiel Zeugnisse und Abschlussbewertungen an verschiedenen Schulen, aber auch private Dokumente, Ehepapiere u.ä. übersetzt.

 

Auch die Untertitelerstellung für betriebliche Ausbildungs- oder Werbevideos bieten wir an, ebenso auch das Einsprechen von Texten zu Videos oder Präsentationen.

Das ist auch gleichzeitig ein Angebot für Filmproduzenten und Theaterproduzenten, Ihre Produktion einem deutschen Publikum zugänglich zu machen.

 

Und auch aktiv durch Knüpfen von Geschäftskontakten mit deutschen Unternehmen schalten wir uns auf Wunsch ein, vorzugsweise in Bereichen, die uns interessieren, und die wir aus unserer humanistischen Weltsicht heraus für wichtig und fördernswert halten.

As a rule, these are historical multilingualism, with the corresponding knowledge of the importance of language for understanding, the (increasing) orientation towards international markets, a cultural-historical awareness (self-confident speakers) and the (increasing) open-mindedness towards the new.

New developments in the Federal Republic of Somalia
After independence from the British and Italians in 1960 and the appointment of a first president, tensions escalated with neighbouring Ethiopia, which revolved around the Ogaden region claimed by Somalia. President Shermake, who had been in office since 1967, was killed by a bodyguard in 1969.
 
This was followed by a politically very eventful history, marked above all by military interventions by other powers (initially pro-Russian, then American).
 
After the withdrawal of these forces, the Somali civil war began, which ultimately shaped political life until 2012 and, with hostilities and refugees, also cost the country its economic strength.
 
In 2011, Kenyan citizens were kidnapped in Somalia and Kenya intervened, leading to the occupation of large parts of the country.
 
Although the parliament decided on the new form of government of the Federal Republic on August 1, 2012, the definition of the constituent states is still largely pending.
 
Especially since civil wars and pirate acts keep the country insecure and conflict-ridden. Normal economic activity is hardly possible due to the problems with hunger and the spread of desert areas in the country.
 
Language and Literature in the Federal Republic of Somalia
 
With the language Somali (Af-ka Soomaali-ga) the country has a national language, which is also spoken by more than 90% of the 12.3 million inhabitants and isofficial language. This is an important prerequisite for development.

We also offer subtitling for company training or advertising videos, as well as the voice-over of texts to videos or presentations.

And we also get actively involved by establishing business contacts with German companies, preferably in areas that interest us and which we consider important and worthy of support from our humanistic world view.
