LIEDER FÜR SIEGER
Am 09.01. beginnen in Lausanne in der Schweiz die Youth Olympic Games - und wir wollen diese Spiele auf besondere Weise um eine Stimme ergänzen.
Alle Medien, die über dieses große Sportereignis berichten, legen großen Eifer in eine grafisch aufregende und energetisch hochklassige Gestaltung ihrer Berichte.
Wir wollen dies mit einem der ältesten Texte verbinden, der im Zusammenhang mit den "Ancient Games" steht, den "Olympischen Spiele der Antike", wie sie von 776 v. Chr. bis 393 n. Chr. im Heiligen Hain von Olympia auf der Halbinsel Peloponnes abgehalten wurden (archäologisch nachweisbar allerdings erst ab ca. 700 v. Chr.).
Der griechischen Dichter Πίνδαρος (Pindaros, dt. Pindar) hat im Zusammenhang mit den Spielen Oden auf die Sieger in verschiedenen Disziplinen gedichtet, die dem Sieger die Ehre erweisen, indem sie ihn persönlich, seine Herkunft und seine Familie, und seine individuellen, besonderen Fähigkeiten rühmen, die ihn zum Sieger gemacht haben.
Wir stellen dazu den alten Text in einer neuen Übersetzung - und zwar in einer grafischen Darstellung, die heutiger Darstellung des Sports in den Medien entspricht.
Zudem sprechen wir Autoren an, auch neue Oden auf die diesjährigen Sieger bei den Spielen zu dichten - und wollen auch diesen eine dynamische, expressive Form verleihen, damit der Sport sich in seiner begeisternden, mitreißenden Kraft auch an alle vermittelt, die nicht persönlich daran teilnehmen werden.
Und dafür haben wir uns nicht zufällig die Olympischen Spiele der Jugend in Lausanne ausgesucht, und sprechen teilnehmende Athleten auch persönlich an, die am Beginn einer langen, erfolgreichen Laufbahn stehen, und für die allein die Teilnahme an den Spielen bereits eine frühe Krönung ihrer Erfolge bedeutet.
Und so ist das Projekt
"Lieder für Siegertypen" entstanden!
The Youth Olympic Games begin on 09.01. in Lausanne, Switzerland - and we want to add a voice to these games in a special way.
All the media that report on this great sporting event put great effort into a graphically exciting and energetically high-class design of their reports.
We want to connect this with one of the oldest texts related to the "Ancient Games", the "Olympic Games of Antiquity", as they were held from 776 BC to 393 AD in the Sacred Grove of Olympia on the Peloponnese peninsula (although archaeological evidence can only be found from about 700 BC onwards).
The Greek poet Πίνδαρος (Pindaros, engl. Pindar) wrote odes to the winners in various disciplines in connection with the games. The poet pays tribute to the winner by praising him personally, his origin and family, and his individual, special abilities that made him a winner.
To this end, we provide the old text in a new translation - in a graphic representation that corresponds to the way sport is presented in the media today.
We also encourage authors to write new odes to this year's winners of the Games - and we want to give them a dynamic, expressive form so that the sport, with its inspiring, rousing power, can also be communicated to all those who will not be taking part personally.
And it is not by chance that we have chosen the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne for this purpose, and we are also personally addressing participating athletes who are at the beginning of a long and successful career, and for whom participation in the Games alone is an early crowning of their success.

Les Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse commencent le 09.01. à Lausanne, en Suisse - et nous voulons ajouter une voix à ces jeux d'une manière particulière.
Tous les médias qui rendent compte de cet événement sportif majeur déploient beaucoup d'efforts pour créer des reportages graphiquement passionnants et énergiquement de grande qualité.
Nous voulons combiner cela avec l'un des plus anciens textes relatifs aux "Jeux antiques", les "Jeux olympiques de l'Antiquité", car ils se sont déroulés de 776 av. J.-C. à 393 ap. J.-C. dans le Bois sacré d'Olympie, sur la péninsule du Péloponnèse (bien que les preuves archéologiques ne puissent être trouvées qu'à partir de 700 av.)
Le poète grec Πίνδαρος (Pindaros, anglais. Pindar) a écrit des poèmes en rapport avec les jeux Oden aux vainqueurs de diverses disciplines, qui rendent hommage au vainqueur en le louant personnellement, son origine et sa famille, ainsi que ses capacités individuelles et spéciales, qui ont fait de lui un vainqueur.
Pour cela, nous fournissons l'ancien texte dans une nouvelle traduction - dans une représentation graphique qui correspond à la manière dont le sport est présenté dans les médias aujourd'hui.
Nous encourageons également les auteurs à écrire de nouvelles odes aux gagnants des Jeux de cette année - et nous voulons leur donner une forme dynamique et expressive afin que le sport, avec son pouvoir d'inspiration et de stimulation, puisse également être communiqué à tous ceux qui ne participeront pas personnellement.
Et ce n'est pas un hasard si nous avons choisi les Jeux Olympiques de la Jeunesse à Lausanne à cette fin, et nous nous adressons aussi personnellement aux athlètes participants qui sont au début d'une longue et fructueuse carrière, et pour qui la seule participation aux Jeux est un premier couronnement de leur succès.
